Hal Kissler, CPM®, CCIM®
Chief Executive Officer

Hal Kissler, CPM®, CCIM® is the Chief Executive Officer and founding principal in the firm. Hal has an extensive background in investment counseling, business and real estate management, and enjoys extensive experience as a court appointed receiver. He is a two-time past president of the local chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and was recognized as the San Joaquin Chapter "CPM® Of The Year" In 2002. Hal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, from California State University, Fresno. In 1992, Hal was appointed to the Fresno City Planning Commission where he served until 2008. He is a past chairman of the Business Associates at CSUF and is currently the Treasurer of the Board of Governors of the Fresno State Foundation. Additionally, Hal is active in several charities and support organizations.

Michael Goldfarb, CPM®
Chief Operating Officer

Michael Goldfarb, CPM® is the Chief Operating Officer. He oversees the daily operations and supervises the Executive Team responsible for directing the day-to-day management of the entire portfolio. He has been involved in the management and lease-up of various types of investment real estate since 1971. Prior to joining Manco Abbott, Michael served as president of a large northwest management company with over 17,000 apartment units operating in 29 states. He has also served as president of Related Management Company of Florida — the largest multi-family developer in Florida. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. Michael is a past chairman and a current advisory member of the Fresno Division of the CA Apartment Association and was the 2003 state CAA president. He is a past Regional V.P. representing California at the National Apartment Association. He is a past president of the San Joaquin Chapter of IREM. Additionally, Michael was awarded 'CPM® Of The Year' in 1983. He is a board member of the Fresno United Way Emergency Food and Shelter Program and he sits on the board of the CSU, Fresno Business Associates of the Craig School of Business.

Brenda Barton
Vice President, Accounting

Brenda Barton is the Vice President of Accounting. She works directly with the CFO to oversee the commercial/retail and multi-family staff accountants and accounts payable staff. Brenda began her career with Manco Abbott in 1984 as a staff accountant and has experience in many phases of the industry including; multi-family property management and supervision, construction cost accounting, tax accounting, payroll, multi-family accounting, and commercial/retail accounting. Today, in addition to her other responsibilities, she is the database administrator of Manco's primary management software and maintains a portfolio of retail, commercial and multi-family properties.

Sandi Berkley, ARM®
Assistant Property Manager

Sandi Berkley, ARM® is an Assistant Property Manager in the Multi-family Department. She joined Manco Abbott as an on-site Community Manager in 1997 and since then, has earned her ARM® and HCCP designations. In 2004, she was featured in Perspective, a California Apartment Association Magazine as one of the best on-site managers in Northern California and was the California Apartment Association Community Manager of the Year (150+ units) in 2004. Sandi was promoted to Assistant Property Manager in 2009 and in addition to those responsibilities; she is also assisting in the development of the on-site new hire orientation/mentorship program with our Human Resources Department.

Greg Bethke, CPM®
Vice President, Business Development

Greg Bethke, CPM® is the Vice President of Business Development. He works closely with the CEO & COO in developing growth opportunities, relationship building, and managing the overall marketing of Manco Abbott and their portfolio. Prior to joining Manco Abbott, Greg worked as a retail leasing and sales specialist where he was responsible for or participated in the leasing and sale of over 2 million square feet of retail space throughout Central California. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno. Greg is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds a California Real Estate License.

Adam Goldfarb, CPM®
Vice President, Multi-Family

Adam Goldfarb, CPM®, is the Vice President of the Multi-family Department. Adam brings a wealth of industry experience with him, having managed client relationships for institutional and multi-family clients including overseeing capital projects and renovations, negotiating contracts, administering budgets and reports, researching and conducting market analysis and corporate presentations. Prior to joining Manco Abbott, Inc., Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts, emphasis Law & Society, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Adam is currently the Board Chairman of the Fresno Division of the California Apartment Association, and an advisory member at the State level. After obtaining his Real Estate license, Adam spent several years in Southern California working in the Real Estate management field for Sares Regis Group prior to returning to the Central Valley.

Debbie Gong, CPM®
Property Manager

Debbie Gong, CPM®, manages a portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties since 1997. Prior to joining Manco Abbott, she managed a retail business for more than a dozen years. Debbie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University with a concentration in Marketing. She has served two terms as the IREM Ch. 85 Secretary and is currently the Chairperson for community services for her chapter. She also previously served three terms as Secretary in CREW (Commercial Real Estate for Women). Debbie currently holds a California Real Estate License and became a CPM® in 2003.

Cathy Gray, RPA® Property Manager

Cathy Gray, RPA®, manages a portfolio of commercial/retail properties in the Central Valley. Cathy has been in property management since 1991. She manages a portfolio consisting of more than 590,000 square feet. Prior to joining Manco Abbott, she was employed by Insignia/ESG. She earned her RPA designation from Building Owners & Management International (BOMI) in 1997 and holds a California Real Estate License.

Robyn Green
Corporate Accounting Manager

Robyn Green is the Corporate Accounting Manager. Working directly with the CFO, she is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the company’s financial records. She began her career with Manco Abbott in 1987. While she’s worked mainly within the Accounting Department throughout the years, she’s also held positions in retail property management, human resources and payroll & benefits, bringing a great amount of diversity to her current role.

Andrea Kennedy
Vice President, People and Organizational Development

Andrea Kennedy is the Vice President, People and Organization Development. Andrea's extensive 18 year career in the field of Human Resources includes 13 years in the healthcare field where she provided strategic direction in all facets of the human resources function for a hotel-like surgical hospital, endoscopy center, multi-site assisted living organization and the largest Independent Physician Association in Central California. Prior to joining Manco Abbott, Inc., Andrea was the Vice President of Human Resources for FSC Health. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources from California State University, Fresno. She maintains dual certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and in California labor law (SPHR-CA). She has been instrumental in helping organizations achieve the prestigious national designation of "Employer of Choice" and local designation of “Best Companies to Work”.

Brittany Lamm
Property Manager

Brittany Lamm is a Property Manager in the Multi-Family Department. Prior to Manco Abbott, Brittany graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California earning a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Psychology. Brittany started in Property Management in 2005 with Archstone-Smith a large Real Estate Investment Trust Corporation managing properties up to 1,000 units as a Leasing Agent, Leasing Manager, Assistant Manager, and Community Manager. Brittany joined Manco Abbott in 2007 as a Community Manager at a lease up property. The lease up was successfully completed in a 6 month time frame and then Brittany was promoted to Assistant Property Manager. After completing her California Real Estate License in 2008 she became a Property Manager.

Maureen Lewis
Chief Financial Officer

Maureen Lewis is the Chief Financial Officer. Maureen has extensive background in real estate management accounting; having started her career with Manco Abbott in 1982 as a staff accountant. Over the years she has acquired hands-on experience in each phase of the financial aspects of the business. Today, in addition to her financial management responsibilities, she works directly with the CEO & COO and appropriate outside advisors on all treasury functions and maintains all banking relations. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University, Fresno. Maureen is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and the CSUF Alumni Association. In 2002-2003, Maureen served as president of her Rotary Club and is active in several non-profit charities.

Dan Limata, CPM®

Daniel Limata, CPM® is a Property Manager in the Multi-Family & Commercial Departments. Daniel was with Manco Abbott for approximately nine years, before accepting a position as a Senior Property Manager with Winn Residential, where he was responsible for the direct oversight and management of over 1,100 subsidized units throughout central and northern California. Daniel made a decision to resume his career with Manco Abbott in January of 2011. Daniel started his real estate management career running a real estate development company for seven years, handling both retail and multi-family properties. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from California State University, Fresno. Daniel currently holds a California Real Estate Broker's License and received his CPM® designation in February of 2008. Daniel received "Property Supervisor of the Year" in 2003 at CAA's Mark of Distinction.

Mia Quick
Operations Manager

Mia Quick is the Operations Manager for the Multi-Family Department. She is accountable for the multifamily operational processes and audit procedures at over 25 multifamily properties. Additionally, she ensures all employees are trained in our real estate software system, Yardi, and facilitates technical support for all site staff. She joined Manco Abbott as an on-site Community Manager in 2004 after nearly seven years in the field serving as a leasing consultant, assistant community manager and community manager. A year later, she was promoted to the corporate office in the role of Software Support Specialist. In this role she was responsible for implementation of our Yardi software program and ensuring all policies and procedures were current and effectively implemented. She received her California Real Estate License in 2009 and received the CAA Mark of Distinction Award - Administrative Assistant of the Year 2010.

Lynda Restovich, ARM®

Lynda Restovich, ARM®, is an experienced Property Manager. Her present portfolio consists of a large group of commercial properties throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Lynda began her career in San Diego doing residential development and single family property management. She moved to Orange County and expanded her management and development experience into shopping centers, located throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Most recently, Lynda lived in Hollywood where she was a Property Assistant for Trammell Crow Company managing a 22-story high rise office building.

Gloria J. Schermerhorn, CPM®, CSM®, is Executive Vice President. Gloria has extensive background in real estate property management; having started her career with Manco Abbott in 1977. She oversees the Commercial Department personnel including the general operations and services provided by Manco Abbott and is also the Secretary of Manco Abbott, Inc. As native of Fresno she has watched the community grow and has managed a wide spectrum of retail and commercial properties. She received her CPM® designation in 1983 and served as President of the local chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) during 1985 and 1986. She received her CSM® designation in 1984 and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. As a Real Estate Broker, she is an associate of the Fresno Board of Realtors. She is also past President of the local chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW).

Matt Spenhoff, CPM®, is a Property Manager in the Commercial Department. Matt began his real estate management career at the age of 19 at Manco Abbott, working at the site level and gaining experience in both the multi-family and commercial departments. In 2008, Matt graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. Upon graduation Matt moved to Los Angeles to gain more experience in the industry while working as a Real Estate Service Assistant with CB Richard Ellis in Century City. Matt worked at the renowned Avenue of the Stars building during his tenure with CBRE and concurrently commenced studies for his California Real Estate Broker’s license, which he earned in April of 2009.
